Buildings II

The very final part of the school art project Buildings
I've still to take home and scan the artist research sheet(Rachel Grant) and many, many prints I did of the Lion of Nemea carving, however this is the main part of the project and as we won't be returning to school for two weeks, you likely won't be getting those any time soon xP

I'm really with how this turned out - I've been experimenting a dozen different ways over the project, and I think I've found a style now that I'm actually quite pleased with. The main image is white A4 paper, with HB pencil, watercolours and inks, as well as a biro pen and some coloured pencils. The black paper is very simple, with just some white pencil for the lines, while the brown paper took a lot more complexity - it has inks on it, as well as some black and white penciling, with shading, lines and the little colour there is all done with different ways of using these three.
The background is an example of some stunning Russian architecture - this is a caste-style house built entirely by hand from planed wood - while in the boxes are an ancient Roman aqueduct, a bronze head-statue of the lion of Nemea, and a replication of some beach huts by Rachel Grant.
All of these individual images can be found on previous sheets, as a final piece is supposed to be a combination of the best of what you've done before. You probably won't be able to find the latter two in my gallery, however, as the artist study sheet was done on A3 and is still at school, while I didn't much like the second Animals in Architecture sheet I did - the one with the statue on - so I did not upload it. So actually, you won't be able to find either of these at all. I'd be slightly scared if you could.
